Now Viewing: ozpinTag type: Character A white haired sunglasses and suit wearing man. He is one of the supporting characters of RWBY. He is the well respected headmaster of Beacon Academy. He is a calm and gentle man who is encouraging to all of his students. He tends to be more forgiving of any flaws in his students and maintains faith in them even when others express doubt. However, he also emphasizes the danger all of the students are in and during training, he matter-of-factly states that they can be killed during training if things go wrong. He is virtually never seen without a cup of coffee in his hand. He was originally intended to be voiced by series creator Monty Oum and Ozpin has a physical resemblance to Oum. However, Oum ultimately decided that his voice was not right for the part and the character is voiced by Shannon McCormick.
